Who we are

Brav Tech Limited ("Brav Tech", "we", "us") is a technology company based in Nairobi, Kenya, providing management software, ICT infrastructure, CCTV and security, and computer hardware to organizations across Kenya. This policy covers the website at bravtech.co.ke and describes how we handle information collected through it.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us directly, and a small amount of technical information automatically as you browse.

• Contact form: full name, phone number, and optionally your organization, email, industry, product interest, number of users, and any project details you type in.
• WhatsApp messages: when you click a "Chat on WhatsApp," "Book a Demo," "Inquire," or "Checkout via WhatsApp" button, a pre-filled message opens in WhatsApp — including any laptop names, prices, or quantities from your cart if you used the hardware order cart. Nothing is sent to us until you personally hit send inside WhatsApp.
• Cart data: if you add hardware items to a cart, that cart (item names, prices, quantities) is stored only in your own browser's local storage on your device — we do not receive or see it until you send it to us via the WhatsApp checkout button.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries, quote requests, demo bookings, support requests, and hardware orders.
• To understand which pages and products visitors find useful, so we can improve the site.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

WhatsApp

Messages sent via WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy, since WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not Brav Tech. We receive and reply to messages sent to our business number (0725 671 721) as part of normal customer communication.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use tracking cookies for advertising. Your browser's local storage is used only to remember items in your hardware cart between visits — this data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us automatically.

Third-party services

This site uses a small number of third-party tools to operate: a live chat widget for support conversations, and an accessibility widget to improve usability for visitors who need it. These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP address) under their own privacy policies when their scripts run on this site.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted to us, including limiting access to client and contact records to authorized Brav Tech staff. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. If you've added items to a hardware cart and want to clear that data, you can do so directly from the cart panel on the Hardware page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business use by adults representing schools, hospitals, and other organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time as the website changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
